Only a parent or guardian pre-approved on the camper’s paperwork may sign them out and must present a valid ID at check-out.

Early departures are not permitted. Please plan your Saturday schedule accordingly to ensure your camper can fully participate in the closing ceremony.

  • Nope! You don’t have to be a Girl Scout to attend Trail and Sail Community Camp.

Campers who aren’t currently registered as Girl Scouts can still join camp. A small, one-time membership fee will be added during registration, which covers them for the entire year.

  • Yes. Trail and Sail welcomes campers of all identities, including transgender, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and queer youth. We follow the inclusivity policies of Girl Scouts of Western Washington, which affirms that all girls—cisgender, transgender, and gender-expansive youth who identify with the Girl Scout experience—are welcome.

Our camp leaders and volunteers are trained on inclusive language, pronoun use, and how to create a supportive, respectful space for all campers. We believe in cultivating a culture of belonging and kindness where every camper feels seen, safe, and celebrated.
